all species have intersex uteri and all genders/sex's can have offspring if they wanted! Some people do decide to get this organ removed though because they don't ever plan to have children (or at least birth them) However if this is done there are fewer options to be able to pass down certain traits to your children.

Characters do not experience periods

One of the primary purposes of a uteri is to home the child for the four months it will take for them to properly grow before being born

Those who decide to have a child, the child would be removed via a C-section ; characters who have had children have a sometimes visible scar along their stomach

There are definitely some species on this planet that are able to switch sexes! However this is not really needed since the only two things that really differ from the Sexes are specific hormones that may shape your body, weight gain rate, and ability to gain some issues (wip)

Intersex people that exist in this world tend to have all, most or half and half of each respective gender / sexes genitals / attributes

Genetics & trait passage

How genetics work is sometimes random and sometimes fortunate. The parents can select which traits they want to pass on to their child, however if a specific trait is selected it has a 50/50 chance of actually happening, & one other parent's choice may be chosen over the other. ex: if a parent who has blue fur/skin wants to pass on that trait to the child , there is a 50% chance they would get that blue color or the other parent's purple color.

Dominant traits, medium traits and low traits are all different kind of traits that exist

Dominant trait pass percentage: 70%

Medium trait pass percentage: 55%

Low trait pass percentage: 35%

Although dominant traits are dominant, there are some cases where medium & low traits are able to randomly 'become dominant'. However this is something that's infrequent & differs

If two parents want to pass on a treat to their child that is of the same type of trait ( dom/dom, mid/mid, low/low ) it is most likely going to be split between 50/50, however there are cases where both traits are given to the child. A good example of this is if a parent who has a low trait of blue eyes , and there is another parent of a low trait of red eyes, there is a 50-50 chance that the child will come out with either blue or red eyes, or have both blue and red eyes ( heterochromatic or both eyes are split between blue +red )

Multiple different parents can contribute to a child's birthing; So if for parents decide to have a child they can definitely all do this

type of hair growth (curly, thick, thin, inbetween)

diet type ( herbivore, omnivore, carnivore )

Compatibility

there are certain species that can't intermingle and have offspring; or if they do, they are considered as a miracle baby as these species often have ailments such as

low/no libido

society + mental influenced identity problems

infertility

missing / underdeveloped organs

general development issues
